WellSpan Health, with its expansive network of over 1,750 providers, 200 care locations, and eight hospitals, stands as a beacon of integrated healthcare, serving seven counties with a team of 20,000 committed individuals.
The evolution of WellSpan over the past decade mirrors the dynamic nature of the healthcare landscape. Amidst this growth, the organization remains steadfast in its mission to enhance community health, driven by a profound commitment to local engagement and robust care systems.
In 2019, as the newly appointed CEO, I embarked on a transformative journey at the behest of our board. Tasked with overseeing a comprehensive governance review, our aim was clear: to align our structures with a strategic vision that could navigate present challenges and anticipate future endeavors.

Led by a dedicated task force comprising 11 subsidiary board members and chaired by a distinguished WellSpan Health board member, the governance review unfolded as a meticulous endeavor.
